RE: United States Broadcasting Center and Child Abuse in Teens.
Did you know that studies show that 80% of 21 year olds who suffered child abuse met the criteria for at least one psychological disorder? These could be common people that you see everyday and you would be blindsided by the fact. Many of these people are afraid to speak up. Whether it be that they never reported the abuse or refuse to accept the fact, they are suffering from one of many of the long term effects of child abuse, we need to help.
This is where my organization comes in to help. We are partnered with Childhelp, A non-profit charity focused on helping victims of child abuse. Together, we are determined to helping those victims who may not know how to speak out or where to get help.
We are a non-profit ad campaign whose purpose is to make the public more aware about these issues and reach out to victims. We advertise where these victims can get help and make victims more aware about some of the more long term effects of child abuse.
I am writing to you in hope that United States Broadcasting Center will consider broadcasting our ad to get the message more out there and make people more aware of what our organization can do to help them.
Along with this letter, we have included print media for a billboard, poster, magazine ad, and business card as well as a commercial ad and radio ad. These informative pieces were made by our organization to be thoroughly informative to the public.
I would love to discuss if USBN would want to get more involved and what else you could do to help.
